Thirty-third week in Réunion Island

So I took the plane, to cross mountain, sea, ocean and desert. A long, long travel...
Just arrived, I saw a lot of friends and my family, so good! And I have been to see the Dipavali at Saint-André, it's an Indian festival of the light. Suddenly, the rain came, in 2 minutes, everybody was wet, running to their car... so fun!
First week, I was almost all the time at the beach, with a nice pic-nic with my friends and family, and doing some surf... the temperature is between 25 and 30 degrees, and people are thinking the water is cold, and they wear a coat on the evening when we are eating outside... I'm laughing by myself, and nobody understands!
Some little things that I forgot, and I wasn't thinking I was missing so much. Some fruits that my godchild gave me that are called cerise à cottes, a species of cherries, and my dog.
What a surprise! When I was at my mother's home for lunch, I saw the birth of a cabri, a species of sheep. It was difficult for the mother. So cute!
Miss McAbre is also enjoying Réunion Island, but I don't really know now where she is? She told me she would go to walk around to see more and more, and she never came back. Anyway, she know where I live.

  1. Florian, It is so nice to follow your blog and share your experiences. Many regards to La Reunion. Hope the people there don't have too cold. Here in Finland it is snowing. And hope you will find Miss Mc'Abre before you will leave back to Finland.
